About Pilibhit Tiger Reserve

Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, located in Uttar Pradesh along the India-Nepal border, is one of India's 47 Project Tiger reserves. In 2020, it received the prestigious TX2 award for doubling its tiger population, making it a conservation success story.

The reserve's unique landscape of sal forests, grasslands, and numerous rivers creates ideal habitat for tigers and the endangered swamp deer. Its relatively undiscovered status means fewer tourists and more intimate wildlife encounters.
